Creamy Tortilla Soup


Made by Leslie

3 cloves garlic (I use 1/4 tsp garlic powder instead)
1 onion, chopped
3 T butter
2 T flour
3 14 oz. cans chicken broth
4 cups cream

Bring above ingredients to a boil for 1 minute
Then add:

1 c salsa
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 15 oz. can cream corn
1 pkg. fajita seasoning
3 T cilantro
4-6 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
Top with tortilla chips and monterey jack cheese

*can be made the day before, refrigerated, then reheated in a crock pot the next day.
