Sift together in bowl
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4-1 c. sugar (more or less depending in sweetness preferred)
Add 3/4 c. milk to mixture and stir lightly.
Pour batter over butter in dish (do not mix).
Place fruit on top of butter and bake for 1 hour.
(2 cans of peaches, apricots or nearly 1 qt of berries.)
